Providential Holdings LLC was formalized in 2026 to give the McDonald family a dedicated entity for the development side of its Marion-area work. It owns the projects and contracts construction services from McDonald and Sons Contracting LLC—a separate entity building locally for more than a decade.

The structure is simple: Providential develops; McDonald and Sons builds. Two distinct entities, separate books, and a clear contractor relationship.

Richard McDonald

Richard is the principal behind both entities. With over a decade of building in Marion, he established Providential to give partners a clean, professional entity to engage with. He remains hands-on with every build.
